This coming Tuesday Barcelona will be in town for the second leg of their highly-anticipated Champions League clash with Liverpool.
Tens of thousands of football fans will flock to Anfield to watch the game - which will decide the tie after tonight's first leg in the Catalan city.
But for those who haven’t yet booked their hotel , the ECHO researched how much a last minute booking will set travellers back - here’s what we found…
Travelodge Liverpool Central
Located minutes away from the city’s best bars and eateries, the Liverpool Central Travelodge is a prime spot for newcomers to the city.
For two organised travellers, booking a three night stay in a double room , a month in advance, will normally set you back around £168.
However for those hoping to stay in the hotel from this Tuesday evening onwards, the price is £327.

Hilton Liverpool City Centre
Built on the site of the Old Customs House, the Liverpool City Centre Hilton, boasts scenic views over the River Mersey and is only a stone's throw away from Liverpool ONE and the Royal Albert Dock.
However, last minute travellers will have to look elsewhere - the hotel currently has no rooms available from Tuesday to Friday of next week.
The same can be said of high end hotels Aloft Liverpool and Liverpool Marriott Hotel City Centre, both of which have no rooms available on the evening of May 7.
Crowne Plaza Liverpool City Centre
However, football fans hoping for a short stay at the four star Crowne Plaza are in luck.
The Liverpool Ccty centre hotel is located in close proximity to Anfield Stadium and is adjacent to the Royal Liver Building .
According to the website, visitors looking to book a room in June for three nights can usually expect to pay upwards of £400.

However, for next week's game, the hotel is currently offering a double room for two, for three nights, starting from Tuesday - for £819.
But with only a handful of rooms left, fans will have to get booking fast.
Holiday Inn Express Liverpool Albert Dock
Anyone looking for a bargain at the Holiday Inn will also have to get their skates on.
While prices for a three night stay in a double bed are on the cheaper end of the scale at £348, rooms are going thick and fast.
As the holiday season approaches, prices don’t seem to be dropping either, with a three night stay in June also costing around £390.
easyHotel, Liverpool
For guests hoping for a short and sweet stay at the three star easyHotel , on Castle Street , double bed rooms are available on Tuesday night for £194.99.
Like many other hotels, last minute reservations on a busy day for the city, have driven up demand, and prices at easyHotel are considerably cheaper later in the month.
For example, a one night stay on Tuesday 14th May will set travellers back just £44.99.

The Podworks Hotel
Known for its pod-style rooms, the Podworks Hotel, located five minutes away from Liverpool Central , is offering fans a three night stay in a standard double room for £222.30.
The budget hotel has established itself as a simple, no frills option in the heart of the city and according to booking.com - reservations for next week are also going fast.
