Apart-hotel group Native is offering complimentary Scottish CBD for its guests.
Any guests who book a room at its Edinburgh or Glasgow properties from 11 to 13 February can kick-start their day with coffee containing extra vitamins and cannabidiol (CBD) - the second most prevalent active ingredient in cannabis - courtesy of Scottish brand La Rue Verte.
Eco-friendly beans are also provided by local sustainable roasters Dear Green Coffee at Native Glasgow and Red Squirrel Coffee at Native Edinburgh.
Gary White, Scotland regional manager at Native, said: “CBD promotes the perfect night’s sleep and we wanted to dip our toes into the wellness industry and provide something different for travellers to our hotels across Scotland.
“We’ve all been through a lot of ups and downs over the past few years with the pandemic taking its toll on our mental health.
“Wellness is vital in our everyday lives - now more so than ever, and we at Native are taking all the steps required to ensure a relaxing, positive atmosphere for our guests.”
La Rue Verte founder Emma O’Neil added: “Santé is a specially formulated water-soluble CBD, it works in direct harmony with your drink of choice, in this case our CBD enhances the mental alertness of caffeine whilst giving balance to your mood and sharpening focus.”
