Hotel Mumbai exclusive clip shows Armie Hammer in tense terrorist siege scenes

Hotel Mumbai has revealed a tense new clip.

The historical thriller examines the horrifying real-life events that saw terrorists siege the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai in 2008.

The clip shows Call Me By Your Name star Armie Hammer as a guest who must flee for his life as terrorists attack the building.

The official plot synopsis for the film reveals the tense scenario that the characters in the film face.

Terror strikes in the heart of Mumbai, India, as members of Lashkar-e-Taiba storm the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in a series of coordinated attacks throughout the city. Amid the gunfire and mayhem, a brave chef and kitchen worker decide to risk their own lives to try and protect the frightened guests. As the militants continue their assault on the hotel, a desperate couple must do whatever they can to protect their newborn baby.

From director Anthony Maras, the film stars Slumdog Millionaire star Dev Patel, Armie Hammer, Nazanin Boniadi, Jason Isaacs, and Anupam Kher.

Hotel Mumbai has received positive reviews from critics, with review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes rating the film fresh at 76% positive reviews.

The consensus on Rotten Tomatoes reads: "Its depiction of real-life horror will strike some as exploitative, but Hotel Mumbai remains a well-made dramatization of tragic events."

If this clip is anything to go by, it will be an intense watch.

Sky Cinema Original Hotel Mumbai is in UK cinemas and on Sky Cinema and NOW TV now.
