A hotel in Renfrew is on the lookout for new staff - and has put out a special call to those who have recently lost their jobs following the collapse of Thomas Cook to get in touch.
The Normandy Hotel has posted on its social media pages that it is currently hiring for a range of positions - and regard it as a 'fantastic opportunity' for former Thomas Cook staff to apply.
And given the fact the 141 bedroom hotel is located just a mile away from Glasgow Airport, it would no doubt come in handy for former Thomas Cook staff who worked at the airport.
The hotel's Operations Manager Julie Nicol told Glasgow Live: "Due to the phenomenal surge in Christmas bookings we are looking for staff who have excellent focus in customer service skills."
The Normandy Hotel is a familiar name with folk in Glasgow and wider afield for being one of the best tribute night venues in Scotland, securing a variety of awards over the years including ‘Scotland’s Best Entertainment Venue’ and ‘Scotland’s Best Tribute Venue’.
