Usually, if you're in a pinch in a hotel with no food the best option is to order room service or a takeaway. One TikTok user shocked followers by making a pizza from scratch in his hotel room.
User Barfly7777 has posted other odd food videos such as a five part series on "toaster chicken" but his hotel pizza has over two million views and has been flooded with comments from horrified viewers.
The video starts with an AI voice saying "Homemade hotel pizza" with the Muppets' 'Mahna Mahna' playing in the background. Barfly scoops some flour onto the side of a hotel bathroom sink with a makeshift measure and begins making his pizza.
"Three parts flour, yeast, honey, salt. Add seasoning to cover up the taste of bathroom", Barfly said. He adds water, once again using the makeshift measure and begins to make his dough straight onto the counter, which he says is "so squishy".
He lets the bathroom dough rest, covered with a towel before rolling it out using what appears to be an ice bucket.
There's no indication from the TikToker as to whether this or the rest of the bathroom was cleaned before he used it.
The crafty chef then brings out a hot plate with a pan and instructs viewers to "grease that s***" before baking the dough and flipping it.

Barfly adds tomato sauce, grated cheese and pepperoni to his pizza, using a heat gun to brown off the "sad cheese".
His pepperoni pizza is then removed from the pan onto the bare surface once again. While taking a bite of the homemade pizza, the voice over says: "Gooey gooey cheesy happy yea success".
Although one comment pointed out that he likely wiped the sides down "with that sock he found between the mattress and box spring" before embarking on his culinary expedition, many viewers were left feeling ill after watching.
"Patient 0" read one comment, while another said: "Immune system gotta be in sports mode." A third added: "Everyone who works at hotels is throwing up rn."

Even if Barfly did clean the countertop and the bin, the sanitary conditions of making a meal "1 foot away from the toilet" was questioned by viewers. "Covid doesn't stand a chance against this guy," said one user.
Some people had a more positive reaction to the chef - one user said: "I've spent sooooo much time in hotels in a past life, this would have made me feel like Ramsey. kudos."
Barfly stood by his culinary choices, despite the comments saying a branded pizza takeaway would have been easier and cheaper. "My last Ceasar’s wasn’t made with love," he told one user and in response to another comment added: "I can buy a McDonald’s double for $.99. Don’t mean I want it."
Since the hotel pizza, Barfly has posted videos giving advice on cooking food in hotels as well as a tutorial on making steak with an iron and some hotel tacos.
