Hot weather on its way as Paisley set for early summer heatwave

Paisley is set to bask in glorious sunny weather once more, as early as next week.

A mini heatwave is apparently on its way, with forecasters predicting temperatures in excess of 20C and wall-to-wall sunshine, after this weekend.

Although the weather will steadily improve over the next couple of days, we may see a splash or two of rain, tomorrow, and on Saturday.

Yet on Monday, it might be time to start looking out the shorts, T-shirts and sun cream, with the week set to start off with temperatures of around 18C.

Renfrewshire bus drivers prove two wheels are better than four for fundraising

It's expected however Tuesday will be the hottest day, with the mercury predicted to go over the 20C mark.

The fine weather will continue, through Wednesday and Thursday, with wall-to-wall sunshine set to split the skies.

And although it may cool down later in the week, the rain should stay at bay, meaning plenty of opportunities to spend time outdoors with friends and family, throughout Renfrewshire .
