Hot Water Comedy club confirms it's reopening with over 200 shows

Hot Water Comedy Club has confirmed it will be reopening next month, with more than 200 shows now on sale.

The coronavirus pandemic has had a major impact on the events industry, and has led to the permanent closure of independent shops, businesses, restaurants and more.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson last month confirmed the government's roadmap out of lockdown, which aims to see the country restored to normality with all restrictions lifted by June 21 - if the government's four key tests are met.

The four stages include the vaccine-roll out continuing successfully, vaccine efficacy, infection rates and hospitals and new variants.

The next set of restrictions are set to be lifted on March 29, when people will be allowed to gather outdoors with up to six people or two households, including in private gardens.

And Hot Water Comedy Club has announced a range of events are now on sale to see it through the rest of the year.

The popular events brand was founded in 2010 by brothers Paul and Binty Blair, and has since gone on to become phenomenally successful with an army of keen fans.

In a post on Facebook, the comedy venue penned: "Hot Water Comedy Club reopen from 23rd April and have over 200 shows listed for the rest of this year!"

The post went on to list a range of events which are now on sale, including Christmas events, Paul Smith's tour and more. A series of comedians are also set to perform throughout the year.

The venue also promises punters drinks offers, with beverages available to purchase through an app.

Hot Water Comedy Club events take place at Liverpool city centre locations including Roscoe Gardens and Hardman Street, as well as further afield in Knowsley.

Events in April will take place at Roscoe Gardens in an outdoor marquee. In May, when indoor venues are permitted to operate, its Hardman Street venue will play host to a number of events.
