A post on social media has grabbed the attention of hot shoppers after a woman said she found the perfect summer cooler from Home Bargains that cost less than £2.
A water spray and fan combination from the Travel Shop range has been described as 'the best thing I've ever bought' by someone struggling in this summer's heatwave.
Since then hundreds of other shoppers have jumped on the cheap buy that can sometimes set you back around £6.99 from other retailers but only costs £1.99 from the discount store.
The hot weather is due to continue into the weekend with some areas of Scotland set for 27-degree sunshine meaning those who normally save the mist fans for holidays need them for their evening downtime.
Others who are on a mission to stay cool have shared their cheap buys on social media, with one woman saying she found a dragon spray fan from the same discount store.
The original post featured a video and a post that said: "An absolute bargain water spray and fan all in one. £1.99 Home Bargains, requires two batteries, it's brilliant."
In the video, the woman added: "Especially for us menopausal women this is absolutely brilliant... it's going to bed with me tonight."
Another user agreed that they work wonders and said: "My granddaughter works in a nursery and has taken it in for the toddlers in this hot weather. They love it."
Suffering from overheating while pregnant and doing so during a heatwave has proved a challenge for several mums who have opted for cooling mats, frozen blankets and hang out spots by the open fridge.
However, one mum said this product was another great option and said: "I put mine in the fridge so water is freezing cold and helps while pregnant too! Sorts me out."
Others who were planning days out and staycations were also jumping on the bargain and said: "We should get one of these for our next adventure! Some places are selling them for like £6, so this is a right bargain!
"We could add a bit of crushed ice into the water holder so it'll be ice cold."
Another shopper commented: "Now I have found an absolute game-changer in this heat... and all for the little sum of £1.99!
"Home Bargains travel section, a fan spray bottle! Words cannot describe how amazing this feels right now."
Several shoppers say they have bought them in the past for holidays in hot countries but with temperatures in the high 20s, they need one for their gardens.
One said: "I have one I bought in Benidorm about five years ago. But I need a new one."
"Bought one of these last week - it's been a saviour in this weather," said another hot shopper.
