Hot food takeaway plans for new Ayrshire shop are approved

Plans to partially change a shop into a hot food takeaway have been approved.

Ms Kimberely Silva now has the green light to sell food, subject to conditions, on Troon's Portland Street.

In documents submitted to South Ayrshire Council, Ms Silva states she'll utilise a panini maker, slow cooker, soup maker, microwave and toaster oven. No deep fat fryers will be used on the premises.

South Ayrshire Council granted permission for the plans but stated the applicant must keep the kitchen ventilated and that hot food should only be sold between 9.30am and 4pm from Monday to Sunday.
