Hot air balloon narrowly avoids crashing into houses

A hot air balloon made an unexpected landing on Bower Street in Bedford on Saturday.
Stunned residents witnessed the descent, with footage captured by Sian Marie King showing the event.
Several bystanders quickly intervened, grabbing the guide rope to help safely lower the balloon and prevent it from hitting houses or cars.
The British Balloon and Airship Club confirmed the balloon "landed without incident" and reported no injuries.
