Host of celebrities set to feature in star-studded in Irish Open Pro-Am in Lahinch

Fans are in for a treat as Irish singer Niall Horan is set to headline an illustrious list of celebrities and public figures at this year's Irish Open Pro-Am.

The pairings for this year's tournament, which will be played tomorrow morning in Lahinch, have been announced as singers, celebrities and legends from the world of sport all face off.

The tournament precedes Thursday's Irish Open, which will see stars such as Shane Lowry, Padraig Harrington, Tommy Fleetwood, Ian Poulter, Jon Rahm and in-form Matt Wallace all in action.

Hurling takes centre stage bright an early as Galway's Joe Canning, Clare star Shane O'Donnell and 2018 Hurler of the Year Cian Lynch tee off with Shane Lowry.

Later in the morning, ex Westlife frontman Brian McFadden and Boyzone's Keith Duffy will join Davy Fitzgerald on the fairways - with Fitzgerald fresh off guiding Wexford to a Leinster Hurling triumph at Croke Park last Sunday.

Kerry legend Kieran Donaghy will tee off soon after, with ex-teammate Tomas O'Se joining Luke Fitzgerald in the following group. Former Taoiseach Enda Kenny is also one to look out for as recent Amateur Champion James Sugrue also got in invite and will be the one to watch in the final morning pairings.

But the afternoon is just as exciting.

Former One Direction star Niall Horan will be on the greens shortly after 1:30 pm, while recently retired Punchestown Gold Cup winning jockey Ruby Walsh will also be in action later that day.

Rugby comes to the forefront soon after as Irish legends Paul O'Connell, Keith Wood and Shane Byrne are all paired in the second last group of the day.

They'll be quickly followed by horse racing royalty in the final grouping as AP McCoy and JP McManus are set to cap of proceedings in what is sure to be an exciting day.
