Hospital searching for family of woman who died alone

A Merseyside hospital has issued an appeal to trace the family of a woman who died alone.

Dorren Plevin died aged 91 at Aintree Hospital on December 12 of this year, with no next of kin.

The hospital is now desperately trying to trace family and friends of Ms Plevin and asking anyone who knew her to come forward.

A spokesperson for the hospital said: "Aintree Hospital is trying to trace family and friends of the late Dorren Plevin who passed away aged 91 at Aintree Hospital on December 12, 2021, with no next of kin."

If anyone has information they are asked to call Aintree Hospital's general office on 0151 529 3458.

The office is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm.
