How does one preview a Boston Celtics – Miami Heat contest where nearly a full team’s worth of players may be out for both teams?
While we won’t retread the list of players who will or may miss the game, suffice it to say much of both team’s better players — particularly the Celtics — are unlikely to play in their rematch of Boston’s Jan. 6 road win. There should be enough players suiting up for both teams that things haven’t’ quite hit the level of the Philadelphia 76ers in their recent contest with the Denver Nuggets, but it’s not far removed, either.

Suffice it to say that both teams will be motivated to give their all with the intense play between the two clubs since the Disney bubble restart’s 2020 Eastern Conference Finals series between the two teams.
That is, at least those able to get on the court to play, anyway.
