What is the comments policy of "London's Quality Newspaper" online? Could it possibly be to decline to post responses from people (one of) its columnists attacks until this is publicised on the blogosphere, whereupon the offending comment appears?
On the other hand it might be pure coincidence that Boris Watch Tom's riposte to the professed partner of "kennite" popped up on this thread after he'd drawn attention to its non-appearance (see comment from AdamB, aka the Tory Troll).
I'd love to know which it is. Or maybe it's neither or both. After all, comments posted at the Standard by the Troll and by Tim Ireland have yet to receive the monitors' approval despite this being made known. Curiouser and curiouser. Meanwhile, the pursuit of "kennite" continues.
