Hoseasons' Pets Go Free deal could save you up to £140 off a holiday

Hoseasons has launched a 'pets go free' deal, and it could save you up to £140 off a holiday in some luxury lodges.

That's because some lodges can charge between £30-£70 extra per week, per pet, with a maximum of two animals allowed. For short breaks, prices range from £15-£50.

The offer is valid on new bookings for both lodges and holiday parks, and will apply to stays until May 26 (the same date you'll need to book by to claim).

For example, there are four-night breaks in Devon from £295 for four people and pets, or three-night breaks in Penllwyn from £359 for two people and pets, based on May travel dates.

You can already book the deal on hoseasons.co.uk.

It's worth noting that there are plenty of cottages on Hoseasons that don't usually charge for pets either - you can check out the listings here - so there's still ample opportunity to enjoy a cheap getaway with your best friend if you're not looking to travel by the end of May.

Of course if it's a summer break you're after, you may even want to consider staying close to one of the UK's best dog-friendly beaches!

Under the current rules, overnight stays in England and Wales are now allowed, provided you're travelling with members of your own household/support bubble, and that you're staying in self-contained accommodation such as holiday parks or self-catered cottages. That includes being able to travel between Wales and England for holidays too.

In Scotland, the stay local order is due to lift on April 16, although travel with the rest of the UK isn't set to resume until April 26 at the earliest. Meanwhile in Northern Ireland there continues to be a ban on overnight stays away from the home.
