The unfortunate business involving Rebekah Brooks, David Cameron and the retired police horse – more about it here – may provide an unforeseen opening for digital TV channel Horse & Country. Not necessarily at the forefront of Sky viewers minds – it's at 280 on your EPG – it suddenly finds itself close to the top of the news agenda. Well, sort of. The channel has announced that Dean Dibsdall, winner of E4 reality series Playing It Straight (in which straight and gay chaps tried to win the heart of a female contestant) has landed his own TV show. It's about retired police ... no it's not, it's called Dean Dibsdall: Model Farrier. Neigh joke.
