Horse racing on TV today as Virgin Media One and ITV show races on free-to-air

Group One action takes place this afternoon as Newmarket hosts the first British classic of the season in the 2000 Guineas.

Pinatubo heads the market for the one mile contest, which takes place at 3.35pm.

Aidan O'Brien's Anthony Van Dyck finished second behind Ghaiyyath in the Coronation Cup on Friday and the Ballydoyle trainer runs four in today's feature in Arizona, Wichita, Royal Dornoch and outsider New World Tapestry.

O'Brien has won the race ten times, including the last three renewals, and will no doubt have his team primed for big runs today.

The 2000 Guineas will be shown live on Virgin Media One in Ireland, as well as ITV.

Three more races will also be shown live from Newmarket, along with three contests from Newcastle.
