Horse racing LIVE stream and TV: How to watch Newcastle races as sport returns in UK

After an exodus of more than two months, professional sport is returning to the UK for the first time since the coronavirus lockdown began on Monday.

Horse racing is the first major British sport to return, having been suspended since the middle of March because of the shutdown, a delay that has made a significant dent in the start of the Flat season.

Monday's bumper card at Newcastle has been expanded to ten races after a whopping 369 entries were made by trainers keen to get their horses up and running.

With a little over two weeks until Royal Ascot, there is little time to waste.

What time does racing start?

The first race - aptly named the Betway Welcome Back British Racing Handicap - is due off at 1pm BST.

The ten races will be held at intervals of 35 minutes, with the final race run at 6:15pm this evening.

How to watch the racing on TV

In the UK, the only place to watch Monday's racing on TV is on Sky Sports' Racing channel, available via Now TV with a day pass for £9.99.

How to stream the racing online

Sky Sports subscribers can stream the racing online via SkyGo and the SkyGo app, with a mobile month pass available for £5.99
