Two men who were arrested after a horse collapsed in Cardiff city centre have been released without charge.
A spokesman for South Wales Police confirmed that no further action would be taken against the pair due to insufficient evidence.
The female horse collapsed on Westgate Street outside the Principality Stadium at around 7pm on Saturday, April 20.
Police went to help the animal and some members of the public took her water from nearby pubs.
Whispering Willows Sanctuary, a local group that supports animals, was called to assist and took the horse into its care.
The horse was checked by a vet and it was believed she was pregnant.

A spokeswoman from the group said she was hopeful the horse would make a full recovery.
She added: "When we arrived, the horse was lying on the floor - she had been there for about three hours.
"She was suffering from heat stroke. We did what we could and got her up."
The horse was taken into care and was described as doing well. She was monitored after suffering from heat stroke.
A 21-year-old man and a 25-year-old man were arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal.
They were released without charge and no further action will be taken against them.
