Horror moment gang of 60 storm pharmacy in terrifying robbery

A gang of over 60 people stormed a pharmacy in a terrifying robbery that caused thousands of pounds worth of damage.

CCTV footage released by Philadelphia Police captures the men and women rushing into the Walgreens store and running around knocking items off the shelves.

Three young men can be seen speeding through an aisle, and knocking makeup off the display.

Some others grabbed items, including soft drinks and snacks as they ran out of the shop.

The incident, which happened at around 10pm on July 4, left at least one staff member with injuries to his head, according to WPVI.

It is said the cashier was hit with a glass bottle when he tried to intervene.

Investigators said the robbery involved a large group of men and women 'who look like teens'.
