Horror maestro Neil Marshall brings Kraken Screamfest to Dublin

Calling all fright fiends! This could well be the event of the season as the director of blood-soaked classics Dog Soldiers and The Descent - as well as pivotal episodes of Game of Thrones - has teamed up with The Kraken Rum to create a unique bar and horror experience.

Kraken Screamfest: Director's Cut will be unleashed in Dublin on October 31st and November 1st, with details still tightly under wraps.

What we know so far is that everything from the décor and the staff to the Kraken Rum cocktails will have a spine-chilling ‘Marshall twist’, with surprises lurking around every corner.

Sounds incredible, and the man himself had this to say: "This will be a one-of-a-kind horror experience, inspired by the legendary sea beast, the kraken, giving people who love my films the opportunity to step into what lurks within my mind when it comes to these creative processes.

"There are plenty of surprises up my sleeve, and I can promise that this will not be for the faint-hearted. The Kraken is famed for explosive experiences, and I'm excited for fans to see a little Hollywood magic sprinkled on its Halloween proceedings."

Tickets are available from EventBrite, priced at €10, and will include three devilishly delicious Kraken Rum cocktails - don't miss out!

More information about the event will be unveiled on The Kraken Rum Instagram page, Twitter page and Facebook page closer to Halloween.
