One man has died and another has been left seriously injured after a horror crash on the M90.
Emergency services were called to the crash between junction 4 and 5, near to Kelty in Fife, just after 7am.
The injured man has been taken to hospital in Edinburgh for treatment where he remains.
The busy northbound road remains closed with diversions in place.
All southbound lanes remain open.
Police enquiries into the fatal crash are ongoing and officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward via 101, quoting incident number 1207 of May 26.
