Horror in Dublin City as shots fired near women and children

Horrific scenes occurred in Dublin City yesterday as shots were fired near women and children.

Gardai rushed to the scene of the alleged discharge of a firearm on Donore Avenue on Tuesday 8 June 2021 shortly before 1pm.

There were no reports of injuries and no damage to property according to gardai.

But a young child and at least three women, including a grandmother, were understood to be at the scene when the reckless gunman fired two shots from a handgun.

Investigations are ongoing and no arrests have been confirmed to gardai at this time.
