A car has been left so badly destroyed after a horror accident police want all drivers to see it before they get behind the wheel.
North West Motorway Police shared the chilling image of the wrecked vehicle after a collision on Sunday afternoon, The Mirror reports.
The images show the red car completely destroyed after smashing into a motorway barrier.
Miraculously the driver survived the impact but suffered serious injuries and was rushed to hospital by air ambulance.
They wrote: “The RTC on the M62 has been handed over to @HighwaysNWEST for repairs & recovery. WB (westbound) remains closed at present.
“Just the driver on board who has survived & taken to hospital with injuries.
"A combination of poor driving and wet weather being the cause.”
The M62 was closed in both directions while emergency crews dealt with the incident.
