Police have launched a probe after "disturbing" footage emerged online following a "serious" assault in Inverness.
The attack was reported on Friday, 12 February.
A video has since surfaced showing a young man with facial injuries which has since been shared online.
Writing about the incident, Highlands & Islands Police Division said: "Police in Inverness are conducting inquiries into a serious assault which was reported on 12/02/2021.
"We are aware of a disturbing video circulating on social media showing a young male with facial injuries.
"We urge anyone with knowledge of this video to contact Police Scotland on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 Reference: PS-20210212-1002."
