Horror Dublin scenes as gang bust open young man's face in bloody garden fight outside house in Loughlinstown

These were the horrific scenes in a south Dublin suburb over the weekend as one man was left with a busted face in a bloody attack.

A huge fight broke out in the garden of a home in Loughlinstown Park where the terrifying gang assault took place just before midnight on Saturday.

Residents watched on in fear as several young people assaulted the victim in his 20s before the alarm was raised to Gardai.

Video footage seen by Dublin Live shows the gang targeting the youngster with as many as five attackers spotted surrounding the victim as blows are delivered during the incident.

Additional photos also seen by this publication, which were circulating on social media following the attack, shows the alleged victim with a bandage around his nose as blood streams from his forehead and his chin.

Dublin Live understands the incident happened over a personal dispute.

When officers swarmed the south suburb scene, they managed to clear the crowd that had gathered but a ganghunt has been launched to find the attackers involved.

The young man received treatment at the scene where his injuries were described as minor.

A garda spokeswoman told Dublin Live: "Gardaí responded to reports of an alleged assault in Loughlinstown Park, Dublin on 30 January at approximately 11:30pm.

"A male aged in his 20s received treatment for minor injuries at the scene."

She added: "Enquiries are ongoing at this time and no further information is available."
