Horror crash closes busy Falkirk road and leaves person in hospital

A person was taken to hospital after a horror two-car crash in Falkirk.

Emergency services were called to the Salmon Hill Road area of Polmont at around 9:20pm last night, Monday August, 30.

Their injuries aren't thought to be life-threatening.

The road was closed for just over an hour while an investigation took place.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.20pm on Monday, 30 August, officers were called to the Salmon Hill Road area of Polmont, following a report of a two-car crash.

"There were no serious injuries reported and the road was cleared around 10.45pm."
