Horror crash between scrambler and delivery man's car in west Dublin sees four rushed to hospital

Four people have been rushed to hospital after a horror smash between a car and a scrambler bike in West Dublin.

The accident between a delivery driver's vehicle and the motorised bike took place on Decies Road in Ballyfermot this evening.

A source at the scene told Dublin Live that three youngsters allegedly "came hopping down" the busy road on the bike before colliding with the driver who was reversing out into the road.

Gardai confirmed to Dublin Live that four people had been taken to hospital after the accident.

Two have been rushed to St James' Hospital, while the other two have gone to Crumlin Children's Hospital.

Gardai also confirmed that all four have non life-threatening injuries.
