Horror as two men are stabbed in Plumstead High Street

A 21-year-old man has been left with potentially life-changing injuries after he was stabbed in Plumstead in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Police were called at around 1.30am to reports that two men had been stabbed in Plumstead High Street.

Officers attended the scene and located two men, aged 21 and 23 years, who were suffering from stab injuries.

Both were taken to hospital.

While neither men are believed to be in a life-threatening condition, the younger one had suffered “potentially life-changing” injuries, according to the Metropolitan Police.

A crime scene remained in place this morning and no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.

The Met’s South East CID are leading the investigation.
