Horror as three men stabbed near south London retail park

Police are appealing for witnesses after three men were found suffering knife injuries in a triple stabbing near a south London retail park.

Officers rushed to were called to Sevenoaks Way, Orpington following reports of a knife attack at around 3.40pm on Friday.

One teen was found at the scene with slash wounds to his leg while two other men were found injured nearby.

All three have been arrested on suspicion of Grievious Bodily Harm and remain in hospital.

A Scotland Yard spokesman said: “Officers responded and found a male aged in his teens with a laceration to his leg.

“A second male was found in a car nearby suffering from a stab injury.

“Around 15 minutes later police were called to a male with a stab injury in St Mary Cray Road.”1

He added that condition assessments await for all three men injured in the knife attack.

He said: “Officers are treating [the stabbings] as linked and are working to establish what happened.”
