Horror as missing Leeds cat found shot and drowned then dumped in bag

Police have launched an appeal after a cat was shot and drowned in Leeds.

On November 25, Sansa, a Bengal cat, went missing from her home in Neville Avenue.

Tragically, she was found in a bag on rough ground off Halton Moor Road. Sansa had been shot and drowned.

West Yorkshire Police are now appealing for anyone who saaw anything suspicious to come forward.

The force said: “On the 25th November Sansa a Bengal cat went missing from her home address on Neville Avenue, at Leeds.

"Sadly she was found yesterday in a bag on rough ground off Halton Moor Road. She had been shot and drowned."

They continued: “Crime number 13210621011. If you saw anything suspicious in the area over the period or have any information please contact 101 and quote the above number.”

People have been left horrified by the news of Sansa’s death.

One person said: “That’s horrendous so horrible, what kind of human does this, I highly doubt they will be found but I truly hope karma pays them a harsh visit so so cruel “

A second said: “Omg there are some very sick evil people about.”

A third added: “Horrendous.”
