Horror as female jogger is raped during early morning run on Streatham Common

A female jogger has been raped after an early morning run on Streatham Common.

The victim was attacked by an unknown man while running a route into Streatham Common via Streatham Common North Road at around 5.10am on Thursday, December 23.

After the attack, the suspect is reported to have run away in the direction of Sainsbury’s in Streatham High Road.

The suspect was wearing dark clothes, a face covering, scruffy white trainers and gloves.

He is described as being a tall male with an athletic build and an English accent.

The incident was reported to police on 28 December.

Police could like anyone with information to share to call 101 and quote CAD 1936/28 Dec.
