Coronation Street teenager Asha Alahan will become embroiled in a heartbreaking storyline in which she tries to bleach her own skin.
Over the last few months, viewers have watched as Asha (Tanisha Gorey) appears to become more unsettled and display some behavioural issues.
When Asha returns from India with Dev and her brother Aadi, they discover the dark reason behind what has really been troubling her.
And her actions could have deeply tragic consequences...
Dev is at his wits end when he returns from India with Asha and tells Mary that his daughter has been a nightmare.
Mary is sure that she will be able to get to the bottom of what is worrying Asha.
Later, however, Asha returns home and insists to Dev that she has had a good day.
But when she puts he bag down the contents of it spills out - including a tub of skin-lightening cream.
Asha hopes that her dad hasn't seen anything and she later begins bleaching her skin with the cream she got in India.
She will then continue to try and buy the product online.
How far will Asha go? And will she suffer some heartbreaking consequences?
