Horrifying moment bride realises 'giant diamond' is missing from ring in wedding photos

A wedding night is always unforgettable, but one bride's special night seemingly tops the list after she lost the 'giant diamond' from her ring.

The stunned bride only discovered that the sparkling diamond was absent from her ring upon looking back at wedding photos of the memorable night.

Photographer Laura Palacios - who boasts more than 86,000 followers on TikTok account @laurapalaciosphoto - explained the jaw-dropping ordeal in a video, which has surpassed a whopping 12.5 million views to date.

The clip showed Laura scrolling through photos captured of the wedding until she zoomed in on the bride's left hand where a diamond was evidently missing.

In the video, she wrote: "Scrolling back through the camera still at the wedding. And seeing... the giant diamond is gone."

"What on earth…" She added in the post's caption.

After sharing the shocking footage, the woman's video has raked in over 600 comments - where people unveiled their horror.

"I gasped," one person claimed.

A second TikTok user said: "That's the most unsafe setting! No prongs."

Meanwhile, someone else shared their first-hand experience: "Oh my God - I lost four diamonds out of my wedding band on my wedding night. We showed up at our jewellers the next morning hungover and still in my wedding hair!"

After the video raked in huge attention online, people pleaded for an update on whether the ring was found.

Thankfully, as shared in an updated video, the diamond was retrieved - much to everyone's surprise.

The photographer claimed that the bride was extremely 'cool and collected' about the ordeal.

They wrote: "(The venue) employee found it wedged between the slats of the dance floor."

Following the update, hundreds of TikTok users praised the bride for remaining calm during the stressful situation.

One person wrote: "That looked like a hell of a party … and what an amazing bride to still be partying and not let it ruin her night good for her!!"

"I'd definitely wouldn't go back to that jewellery store again," a second advised.

A different user penned: "I'd be changing that setting real quick. so glad they found it!!"
