Horrified Spanish passenger describes how 'English animals' turned Ibiza flight into 'mid-air nightclub'

A horrified Spanish passenger has revealed how a group of English “animals” turned an EasyJet flight from Luton to Ibiza into a “mid-air nightclub”.

Erika Barrachina uploaded a TikTok video of boisterous British holidaymakers screaming “come on Ibiza” in the cabin on Friday night.

She insisted the passengers should not have been allowed to board the Airbus A320 in the first place and called for airlines to ban the sale of alcohol.

During the two and a half hour journey, the British travellers allegedly prevented flight attendants from working by “standing, screaming... (and) drinking little bottles of alcohol one after the other”.

She said two male air stewards and an air stewardess had asked some passengers for documentation but were met with shouts of “F*** off”.

Ms Barrachina also claimed the Britons on board the 180-seat plane were taking “pills and alcohol at the same time”.

She captioned the post: “My trip yesterday London-Ibiza with EasyJet was a real horror! I was scared, a plane full of real English animals!

“This is unacceptable! They shouldn’t let these people on the plane or sell alcohol on it!”

She added: “I’m not afraid of flying because I’ve flown around the world but I had a panic attack because it was like being in a pub, in a nightclub, but in the air.”

Rowdy Britons were reportedly confronted by Ibizan police officers after Flight EZY2307 landed in the Spanish party island at around 11.30pm local time.

A spokesman for EasyJet said: “Flight EZY2307 from Luton to Ibiza on May 16 was met by police on arrival due to a group of passengers behaving in a disruptive manner.

“Cabin crew are trained to assess all situations and to act quickly and appropriately to ensure that the safety of the flight and other passengers is not compromised at any time.

“Whilst such incidents are rare we take them very seriously and do not tolerate disruptive behaviour onboard.

“The safety and wellbeing of passengers and crew is always easyJet's highest priority.”

Ms Barrachina uploaded the footage on Saturday, a day before thousands of people from the Canary Islands protested against mass tourism.
