Some Manchester United supporters expressed their disappointments at a below-par first-half showing against Norwich City this evening.
Up against a Canaries side rooted to the foot of the table at kick-off, United were expected to arrive in Norfolk and impose themselves on Dean Smith's side, just as they did against Crystal Palace last weekend.
However, United failed to make any sort of telling mark on the game in the opening 45 minutes, with the first half proving to be a drab and uninspiring contest.
United struggled to get their contingent of attacking players into the game as much as they would have liked, with chances failing to fall at the feet of Cristiano Ronaldo and Marcus Rashford as much as interim manager Ralf Rangnick would have hoped for.
The duo were starved of clear-cut chances to try and put United ahead, with Bruno Fernandes, who has so often been the Reds' architect-in-chief since joining the club almost two years ago, failing to impose himself on the contest and supply the goods.
His first-half showing was criticised by a number of United supporters on social media, with them feeling uninspired by his performance. He was struggling to get on the ball and his passes lacked both accuracy and composure.
Below, MEN Sport has taken a look at what some United supporters had to say in response to the Portuguese international's first-half performance.
Fernandes struggled to get his passes off and show the same levels of quality he usual does, highlighted by the fact that he lost possession on 17 occasions during the first half and had a pass completion rate of just 65.7 per cent.
