Emergency services rushed to the scene of a crash between a van and the female pedestrian in Hornsey on Thursday.

The 55-year-old woman was rushed to an east London hospital for treatment but died of her injuries on Saturday.

Her next of kin have been informed and a post-mortem will be scheduled in due course.

The driver stopped at the scene of the crash at around 5.10pm in High Street, Scotland Yard said.

“There have been no arrests and enquiries continue,” the police spokesman said.

“Detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have dash cam footage.”

Anyone with information is asked to call the Serious Collision Investigation Unit at Alperton on 020 8991 9555.
