In Philadelphia for the second night of a back-to-back and the start of a two-game stint against the Sixers on the road, the Hornets fell on Saturday, 127-112.
After fighting back from a slow start early, the Hornets quickly fell behind double digits in the second-half of the first quarter. Despite piecing together a decent offensive night on the back of Terry Rozier the rest of the game, the defense never caught up.
Rozier poured in a game-high 35 points while Gordon Hayward added 18 points, six rebounds, six assists and four steals. LaMelo Ball was the only other Hornet in double figures with 13 points.
Ben Simmons had a triple-double for the Sixers, tallying 15 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists.
