Hornets vs. Heat preseason preview: How to watch, start time

The Charlotte Hornets are looking to bounce back in Monday’s preseason matchup against the Miami Heat after falling big to the Memphis Grizzlies last Thursday.

But, the Hornets will be shorthanded as they’ll be without Gordon Hayward, Mason Plumlee, and Kelly Oubre Jr. for the second straight game along with missing Terry Rozier, who is out with an ankle sprain.

Look for rookie James Bouknight to potentially step in to Rozier’s spot in the starting lineup and continue his hot scoring during the preseason.

Here’s when and where you should tune in to see the matchup:

  • Date: Monday, Oct. 11
  • Time: 7:30 p.m. EDT
  • Location: American Airlines Arena, Miami, FL
  • Channel: Bally Sports SE, listen on WFNZ 610 AM – 102.5 FM

Probable starting lineups

Charlotte Hornets

  • Guard – LaMelo Ball
  • Guard – James Bouknight
  • Forward – Cody Martin
  • Forward – Miles Bridges
  • Center – P.J. Washington

Miami Heat

  • Guard – Kyle Lowry
  • Guard – Duncan Robinson
  • Forward – Jimmy Butler
  • Forward – P.J. Tucker
