Horace Andy's long association with Massive Attack has made him one of the world's best-known reggae artists. As such, it's clear that he should have plenty of knowledge of life on the road, the concept behind this new album. Recorded in Kingston last year, the mood flits from Must Surrender's Sly & Robbie-style disco grooves to the rougher edges of Dance Hall Music. While nowhere near as gratifying as earlier standards, including the now classic Skylarking and his gorgeous falsetto cover of Bill Withers' Ain't No Sunshine, On Tour finds the singer in characteristically sweet and soulful voice.
