Hopeful Sunderland buyer William Storey offers to fight Black Cats fans for charity

Prospective Sunderland buyer William Storey has offered to fight four representatives from the Roker Report to raise money for charity.

The Sunderland fan site has almost raised £25,000 for the Community Soup Kitchen as they bid to feed, clothe and care for the most vulnerable people in Sunderland.

Players, fans and club representatives have donated towards the charity, which you can do so here.

Now William Storey, who remains intent on purchasing the club has offered to fight four fans to raise money for the Sunderland foodbank.

Taking to Twitter, Storey said: "A charity #boxing event to raise money for the brilliant @sunderlandfb is a great idea.

"I'll fight 4 members of @RokerReport over 3 rounds each.

"All monies raised to the #foodbank which helps those in need in the #Sunderland area.

"Good fun too."
