'Hope we see you again' - Bristol Rovers fans react as Alex Jakubiak returns to Watford

Bristol Rovers supporters are surprisingly ruing the departure of a loanee from the Premier League.

Gas fans have reacted to the news that Alex Jakubiak will not be extending his stay at the Memorial Stadium after a season-long loan.

The 22-year-old has returned to parent club Watford following a stay in the south west that will be tinged with regret.

The striker made just 11 starts in 43 appearances for the club, scoring just five goals and providing two assists.

After a run of starts between mid-December and mid-January as Graham Coughlan took the reins, Jakubiak found his game-time limited following the arrival of Clarke-Harris, who hit the ground running at the Mem.
