A university has paid tribute to a "committed, diligent student with a bright future" who was killed after being hit by a police car.
Rachael Louise Moore, 22, was hit by a marked police car on Sheil Road, Kensington on Christmas Eve. Emergency crews were called to the scene but she died from her injuries.
Liverpool Hope University have now paid tribute to their former-student who studied Philosophy, Ethics and Religion at the university, graduating last summer. They announced a memorial service will be held for the 22-year-old in the coming weeks.

Hope University's Interim Vice-Chancellor, Dr Penny Haughan, said: "Everyone at Liverpool Hope University is deeply saddened by the news of Rachael’s death. She was a committed, diligent student with a bright future, who will be remembered for both her kindness and passion for social justice by the staff and students who knew her.
"The University will hold a memorial service for Rachael in the coming weeks. On behalf of Liverpool Hope, I would like to offer our sincere condolences to her family and friends.”
In the aftermath of her death Rachael's family released a heartbreaking tribute. They said: "Rachael Louise Moore aged 22, cherished daughter of Alison and Ian, sister to Ben and much-loved granddaughter of Nana Sue. Partner to Jack and caring friend to many.
"She will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched."
Merseyside Police said they are providing assistance to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) which has launched an investigation into the incident.
