'Hope that's the last we see of him' - Tottenham fans want Christian Eriksen exit

Christian Eriksen's relationship with Tottenham fans seems to have hit a new low.

The midfielder is set to leave Spurs this year, with just six months remaining on his current contract.

The Denmark international has been unwilling to discuss a new deal at Spurs, and is now able to discuss a free transfer in the summer with foreign clubs.

Eriksen is currently in the shop window, but clubs hoping to seal his signature will not have been too impressed with what they saw against Liverpool.

The midfielder was off-par, and was substituted with 20 minutes remaining by Jose Mourinho, with Giovani Lo Celso coming on in his place.

Eriksen, who has been at Spurs since the summer of 2013, was jeered off the pitch by home supporters - and those watching at home did not hold back either.

The likes of Inter, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United have all been linked with a January move for the 27-year-old, with Spurs reportedly keen to get some money for him this month rather than lose him for nothing at the end of the season.

Antonio Conte's Inter are rumoured to be considering an offer worth around £20million for the midfielder to try and beat other teams to his signature, while Manchester United have reportedly accepted that Eriksen wants to move abroad.
