Hope Rocks rolled back to summer due to pandemic

POSTPONED: James Reyne will headline the rescheduled date.

HUNTER Valley tourism has taken another hit with Hope Rocks music festival postponed due to the worsening COVID-19 pandemic in NSW.

The Pokolbin winery was scheduled to host Hope Rocks on October 16, however, it's been rescheduled for Saturday, February 5.

Hope Rocks headliner James Reyne is confirmed for the rescheduled date as is the other six Australian acts - The Baby Animals, Rose Tattoo, Choirboys, Models, Boom Crash Opera and Nick Barker and the Reptiles.

Ticketholders are encouraged to hold onto tickets as they are automatically valid for the rescheduled date. Any ticket related questions should be directed to ticketmaster.com.au.

Roche Estate music festival Grapevine Gathering (October 9) - featuring Peking Duk, Jungle Giants and The Veronicas - has already been cancelled.

Other music festivals scheduled for October include Dashville Skyline (October 1 to 3) and Roche Estate's Red Hot Summer (October 23), featuring Jimmy Barnes and Hoodoo Gurus.

No official decision has been announced on those festivals, but with the Greater Sydney lockdown extended to the end of September, postponements are expected soon.
