Real Sociedad striker and reported Liverpool target Alexander Isak has penned a new long-term contract with the La Liga club until 2026.
Isak has been one of the bright stars of Sweden's Euro 2020 campaign, as he helped his side reach the Round of 16 stage of the competition.
Isak has been a name that had been linked with a move to Anfield this summer as his stock has continued to rise after an impressive 17 goal campaign in Spain.
Liverpool fans have taken to social media this afternoon to react to the news of Isak's contract, with there seeming to be a mixed reaction to the deal.
It seems that given Isak's rise over the previous few weeks, many Reds fans had seen him as a perfect deputy for the current supply line of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota.
However, given that Liverpool could look to raise funds internally, by selling the likes of Harry Wilson, Divock Origi and potentially Takumi Minamino, it means they might be forced to carry out their business towards the back end of the window.
