STIRLING Albion has now banned unaccompanied under-16s from entering its stadium following a "hooliganism" disorder incident.
The incident, which is now being investigated by Police Scotland, happened outside Forthbank Stadium on Saturday, August 1, after a match against Dumbarton.
Police say they are working with the club, Stirling Council and other partners to identify those involved.
Inspector Steven McCooey said: "We are working with Stirling Albion FC, Stirling Council, and other partners to identify those involved in the disorder.
"We appeal to those in the local community who have witnessed any disorder, or who have any relevant footage, to contact police via 101 and quote incident number 2287 of August 1, 2026."
In response to the incident, Stirling Albion has introduced a ban on unaccompanied under-16s at the stadium on home matchdays and will recommend the same policy to opposing clubs for away matches.
The club described the incident as "hooliganism" and stressed that anyone identified as taking part will face a lengthy ban.
A statement from the club said: "We were appalled by the hooliganism that took place outside Forthbank on Saturday afternoon after our match against Dumbarton FC and are currently working to identify those responsible.
"The information we gather will be passed to Police Scotland and criminal charges may follow.
"Any perpetrators who are subsequently identified will be subject to a lengthy ban.
"This kind of behaviour, and the people who carry it out, are not welcome at our football club."
The club said it will also refuse entry to anyone wearing face coverings, and once a new membership scheme is implemented, unaccompanied under-16s will only be allowed in if they present a membership card.
The scheme will require registration, parental permission, and agreement to a code of conduct, with any breach resulting in an immediate ban.
The club acknowledged the wider societal issue of anti-social behaviour and said it would continue to work with Police Scotland, Stirling Council, and other agencies on match-day safety measures.
