Hooded men smashed Chilwell shop window with brick and stole cigarettes

Four hooded men smashed the window of a shop with a brick before making off with cigarettes, police have said.

The incident happened at a Premier store in Bramcote Lane, Chilwell, at around 11.15pm on Sunday, November 3, when the men wearing hoods got out of a white Ford van.

They smashed a window with a brick and entered the building, police confirmed.

A number of cigarettes were stolen.

Officers are continuing their investigations and are appealing for witnesses and information.
