Hong Kong street photography exhibition captures raw side of city life

Slow Lane by Jeremy Cheung, one of the photos by 21 artists that will show at the “Made in Home Kong” street photography exhibition at Bamboo Scenes from March 16.

Hong Kong’s bustling streets and towering skyscrapers provide a dream backdrop for photographers, and a new street photography exhibition of the city featuring local and international artists will showcase some of the best images they have captured.

“Made in Home Kong” is a collaboration between lifestyle brand Home Kong and gallery Bamboo Scenes, which specialises in street photography and also supports Impact HK, a charity that helps the city’s homeless.

The exhibition features works of 21 photographers including Elaine Li, Stephanie Teng, Jeremy Cheung, Kevin Mak, Gideon de Kock, Christopher Lim and Sharon Liu.

It will launch on March 16 with a block party from 2pm to 6pm at Bamboo Scenes, 13 Fuk Sau Lane, Sai Ying Pun. For more details visit the Facebook page.
