Honey G reckons she could win X Factor All Stars AND save the show

She didn't win the X Factor, but she certainly made her mark.

And now one-of-a-kind rapper Honey G reckons she's got what it takes to win The X Factor All Stars special, and save the franchise's falling ratings.

The normal X Factor has been cancelled this year, with an All Stars special running in its place.

It will see some of the show's biggest success stories return to the stage to battle it out.

And while none of the acts have been confirmed yet, Honey - real name Anna Gilford - believes she should be top pick.

“I tick all the boxes. Give the people what they want and what the people want is Honey G," she told The Sun .

And she reckons her eccentric performances of hits like Missy Elliott's Work It and Tupac's California Love stand a better chance of reaching Christmas number one than something sentimental.

“Nobody wants to see a power ballad. My prediction is if they do that they'll stick with the low ratings. I think I am their best shot at getting Christmas number one," she said.

Honey G came in fifth place in the 2016 series, and was eliminated when the judges chose 5 After Midnight.

But she believes she's destined to be more than an X Factor reject.

“Some people burst into tears when they saw me eliminated. I was clearly a favourite. I should be in the charts consistently getting chart hits. Every time I go on that stage I feel like I was born to be here.”
